We prefer the term “gathering” as opposed to “service” since we feel strongly that church is a participation sport for the gathering of the saints. And that’s reflected in how we’ve structured our time together. Our gatherings consist of a few key components.
First, musical worship. Our musical style includes contemporary and God-focused music with some traditional hymns sprinkled in.
Second, we like to spend time in the Word together. Before our Pastor comes up to preach, you’ll be given a chance to engage with the text on your own for some self-study. We believe the Holy Spirit is the best at giving us application and can speak to anyone at any time so we leave lots of room for Him to do His thing.
Third, at the very center of every gathering, we participate in the greatest visual sermon ever told, the Lord’s Supper. During this time, we invite all who have put their trust in Jesus to take of the elements in a very meaningful and sacred way as we celebrate the work Christ did on our behalf together as His followers.
