When His Story Becomes Our Story - Luke 24:13-35
September 1, 2026

In this message from Luke 24:13–35, Pastor Brolin Rosquist follows two disciples walking away from Jerusalem on resurrection day — grieving, confused, and blind to the risen Jesus walking right beside them. Tracing the road to Emmaus, this message shows what happens when we miss God's story by writing our own, and what changes when his story becomes ours instead: Scripture comes alive, our hearts burn within us, and we can't stay quiet about it. Big idea: When his story becomes ours — we can't help but share it.
- When we miss his story, we miss him altogether (vv. 13–24)
- When his story becomes our story, Scripture comes alive (vv. 25–27)
- When his story becomes our story, it changes our hearts (vv. 28–32)
- When his story becomes our story, we have to tell somebody (vv. 33–35)
